Oh no! My Brexit blog has to comply with European Union regulations!

I just opened this new blog on the subject of the Brexit - and I was surprised that no-one else has taken the website name.

Anyway, first for a spot or irony. What was the first message that I got as I initialized the blog?

Well, it was this:

"European Union laws require you to give European Union visitors information about cookies used on your blog. In many cases, these laws also require you to obtain consent ...
You are responsible for confirming this this notice actually works for your blog and that is displayed."

Fortunately, Blogspot does pride a message on this site that it uses cookies. However I am not personally putting any cookies on this site so any cookies used will be from the provider anyway.

This is another great example of the EU making a dumb regulation about something over which the regulated person has no control!

The sooner we leave this ridiculous, self-serving political circus, the better.
